Ingredients for making Sticky Rice in a Rice Cooker:

  • 2 cups of glutinous rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Instructions to make Sticky Rice:

  1. Rinse the glutinous rice with cold water until the water runs clear. This step is important to remove excess starch from the rice and prevent it from becoming too sticky.
  2. Add the rinsed glutinous rice to the rice cooker pot.
  3. Add 2 cups of water to the rice cooker pot and mix in 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Stir the rice and water mixture gently to ensure the salt is well-distributed.
